Indigo is a color that is traditionally regarded as a color in the visible spectrum, as well as one of the seven colors of the rainbow: the color between blue and violet. Although traditionally considered one of seven major spectral colors, sources differ as to its actual position in the electromagnetic spectrum. Indigo is a deep and bright color close to the color wheel blue (a primary color in the RGB color space), as well as to some variants of ultramarine.
The color indigo is named after the indigo dye derived from the plant  Indigofera tinctoria and related species. The earliest direct evidence for the use of indigo dates to around 4000 BCE and comes from Huaca Prieta , in contemporary Peru. Pliny mentions India as the source of the dye, imported in small quantities via the Silk Road. The Greek term for the dye was Ἰνδικὸν φάρμακον ("Indian dye"), which, adopted to Latin as indicumand via Portuguese gave rise to the modern word indigo.El Salvador has lately been the biggest producer of indigo.
Indigo was actually a plant that got its name because it came from the Indus Valley, discovered some 5,000 years ago, where it was called nila, meaning dark blue. And by the 7th Century BC, people starting using the plant as a dye—the Mesopotamians were even carving out recipes for making indigo dye onto clay tablets for record-keeping. By 1289, knowledge of the dye made its way to Europe—when the Venetian merchant traveler Marco Polo reported on it.
But it wasn’t until 1640 when demand started to pick up for indigo. Spanish explorers discovered an American species of Indigo and began to cultivate the product in Guatemala. The English and French subsequently began to encourage indigo cultivation in their colonies in the West Indies. Indigo dye could be made from two different types of plants—the indigo plant, which produced the best results, and from the woad plant.
Isaac Newton introduced indigo as one of the seven base colors of his work. In the mid-1660s, when Newton bought a pair of prisms at a fair near Cambridge, the East India Company had begun importing indigo dye into England, supplanting the homegrown woad as source of blue dye. Newton acknowledged that the spectrum had a continuum of colors, but named seven: "The original or primary colours are Red, yellow, Green, Blew, & a violet purple; together with Orange, Indigo, & an indefinite varieties of intermediate gradations. He linked the seven prismatic colors to the seven notes of a western major scale as shown in his color wheel, Having decided upon seven colors.Indigo is therefore counted as one of the traditional colors of the rainbow, According to Isaac Asimov, "It is customary to list indigo as a color lying between blue and violet, but it has never seemed to me that indigo is worth the dignity of being considered a separate color. To my eyes it seems merely deep blue. ”(Google credit, Wikipedia)

Four Clover Luck Symbolism What to do when you find a four clover leaf

Four Clover Luck
Four Clover luck, leaf , rarely found and if seen by some one has traditional symbolic beliefs that it brings goodluck. The four leaves clover, four petals, looks unique, each petal symbolizes a different meaning and energy. There is faith, hope, love and luck.
One learns to trust the Universe and nature has its own way to bring symbolism in front of us in some way or another if we are aware and conscious about this. Symbolizes spiritual growth.
According to Irish lore, each leaf symbolizes differently. Respect, wealth, love, health. The three clover leaf represents Trinity, father, son and the holy spirit. and when a four leaf clover is spotted it represents God's grace.  The color green in Feng Shui symbolizes growth and wealth. It is also considered a symbol of abundance and wealth as greens growing act as food for livestock.  There is a natural fragrance in the clover leaf, bringing about a feeling of well being.
Four Clover plant, Trifolium repens, has one of the leaf slightly smaller than the other three. A symbol of goodluck and prosperity. Charms and lucky amulets are found with the four clove images. Never realized this was such a spiritual experience as I had few months back seen four clovers in our garden popping up naturally in containers. No I did not know about the symbolism back then. Nor about the goodluck symbolism, but after searching Google and reading about the traditions and lores, well it is considered auspicious to spot one, and it is believed to come forhte only for a chosen few, so if you try hard and look for it maybe,  you may not find these.
Then also people believe that these leaves must be stored and gifted to special people to spread the Universe blessings and luck. Well next time I see some , will definitely place them in my book with loads of respect and love! like I have my bird feathers and my Gulmohar flowers petals.
Every symbol that comes up in my mind and keeps repeating,  gets a place in my healing art, the painting above- Four Clover Luck, symbolic, petals, lucky charm, Tibetan Eight auspicious symbols.
What would you do if you find one? well consider yourself lucky, a beautiful symbol from the universe for welcoming its blessings. Luck and blessings come in known and unknown sources and ways, just be alert and happy. Another important point to mention, people I have noticed just go on cloud nine with happiness on finding a four clover leaf, and then just forget about this. , do not forget to keep up your hard work and efforts, it is only then that the effects will gradually, beautifully emerge,  be visible in forms of abundance, healed relationships and wealth luck. Wealth will shower in may ways, and not just money  cash. it can be in form of offers and discounts, unexpected gifts, free passes and even in getting opportunity to spend Awesum times with family togetherness if you long and wish that! The universe keeps blessing us with symbols and I always say, The Universe has everything in abundance, we just have to tap this! Do share your experiences if you find a four clover leaf !
meanwhile obsessively continuing painting, upcycling some old paintings, burning a few , recycling, repainting some!  am in the mood of Christmas fantasy magic and making some beautiful paintings form my heart, trust me, Magic Happens! Magical Sky I want to fly, I Am on The List! Christmas Dreams!

Energy of your home while you choose art prints for your wall ! Some Tips for judiciously adding art to your life with art prints

What do you express when you add up a whole lot of art prints to your home wall? Think about this!
On a mug
While art prints are available , now , so easily, almost every other arty website offers cheap art prints of just about any masters! So you think why not buy a whole lot, many art prints and decorate a whole wall, isn't it so classy and arty!
Well no,
1) the energy of art prints is zero!
2) as also the social status of an art print is always considered, and  truly is,  lower than an original painting. So your home looks like just any other home with art decorated but not classy and
3) what more these cheap art prints also do end up in bins with a least hint of redecorating thought.
So does this reflect you and your personality and your value system, give this a thought. Would you share with the same excitement a conversations about  a wall covered with many cheap art prints?
People do tend to buy a whole lot of art prints as they are easily available and really dirt cheap! Then also there is tendency to go over board by adding up too much for your walls, as price does not matter while buying prints, they are very cheap as compared to originals.

Original painting print
Then I also chanced upon printing sites that let you get customized printed objects and prints. So Karma is let aside and people go ahead and copy paste images they like for free and get these framed! think about this...
The Feng Shui energy of your home in every aspect of your life will reflect your simple decisions. While people question the effects of Universe, they hardly give a thought for their actions.
Some Mistakes with Cheap art prints displayed on walls-
1) Most of the times they are emotional decisions going with colour , price, and hardly any thought given to symbolism, obviously it may sometimes backfire from Feng Shui  energy point of view.
2) Art prints are printed commercially and have no personal energy.
3) They are produced in such large numbers almost you bump up in every next home with the same art print!
4) Packages and Offers on combinations, again a mistake as you may be  forced, to buy the other art prints also and tend to bring in not so good energy.
5) Sizes may differ and in case you tend to choose according to cheapest ones, so the quality of the art prints also may differ.
6) Art prints do look like prints! the whole atmosphere looks artificial and mars the decor element of your space. They are flat, and even, hardly any thing more than an image.
7) Overdoing is one thing you tend to do with cheap art prints! There is a tendency to add up too much! which transfers to the whole room decor and lowers the complete style quotient.
If you are about to buy art prints for your walls-
1) Go for art you love and not just the famous artists art prints as these prints are  almost everywhere.
2) Try to find out about prices , original art is affordable nowadays and you may end up buying an original hand painted artwork in the same price or a bit higher! hand made Energy is beautiful and irreplaceable!
3) Choose carefully art for walls going about with some Feng Shui knowledge and guidance, thus also utilizing the art print  for your benefit.
4) For gifting purposes try to avoid prints , they show your thoughts and also may not be appreciated by the receiver, especially one at a higher post,  as an original artwork is. Most often gifted art prints end up being gifted to some one else! they don't find a home soon!
5) Avoid large sized art prints, they are flat and sometimes even ordinary road side stall  posters are well off then these.
6) Prints are  a respite in special areas and public places where it is not safe to hang original costly paintings. smaller ones can be added to areas and spaces where original art work display is risky and avoided. Like the one who wanted to activate the wealth sector that came in the garage sector, so a cheaper print , purchased along with  hand signed by the artist is good.
Bill boards with original art print
Hoarding in public places original art print.
7) The painting prints will not be able to show the textures or effects, they are flat images, so might as well buy a cheaper poster that is glossy and attractive.
objects knick knacks with original painting print
8) buy art prints from artists, they will be supported and encouraged as also a gesture from your side to help seem one pursue their dreams and those who give their life for art!
Magazine covers original art print
Throw pillows with original painting print
Mobile cover original painting print
9) Objects with original art printed over them are a great way to add up art prints and they also look unique in modern decor. Websites offer artists to post their art and they are  paid a sum amount for these sale of prints.
T shirt with original painting print
Mug with original painting art print
And if you are about to download free art prints!
1) They always have their logo imprinted so it is not such a good sight to display these , especially horses artwork prints with blobs of logo breaks the energy here.
2) Most of the times people want to activate Feng Shui sectors and go ahead and print art prints in their homes without permission of the artist, and wonder why the Feng Shui cures are not working!
3) Free art prints have no status or symbolic value. and also are not a topic to share in any conversations!
So why not leave the art prints for objects of desire and for your walls choose some original art! your walls will thank you!and your Feng Shui sectors will be activated as well!

Deepavali, / Diwali is a great festival of lights and choosing these paintings for displaying on your walls brings out happy festive memories. There are some important points you need to be careful of while choosing/buying Deepavali/Diwali image paintings.
1) The festival of lights, lamps and diyas in your paintings must be glowing and not extinguished as this will affect the energy of the space they are displayed in.
2) Avoid violent fire crackers, raging fires in your paintings. These have strong energy and may affect the viewer adversely by making them restless and irritable. Especially small children are affected by loss of sleep being surrounded by images of many lights in paintings.
3) Choose burning lighted lamps or diyas in paintings that show hope and progress. Avoid lonely lady with lamp, desert landscape with small lamp, rains lashing with thundering clouds and a extinguished or struggling small lamp, Serious side effects on viewers.
4) Hang these paintings with fire display fireworks, in the Feng Shui sector which nourishes or supports the elements of fire. South loves fire but North water may extinguish the energy of fire.

5) Always choose the fireworks paintings that you connect with. Strong fire energy is not accepted by everyone and even though it may seem a happy celebrating image it may not give beneficial Feng Shui chi for your space and life.
6) Fire when used correctly can attracts loads of fame, goodname, opportunities, wealth and prosperity.
7) Diyas and lamp paintings can be used to activate feng shui energy of some sectors, like burning two small diyas with positive intentions in southwest activates happy , harmonious relationships energy. Here again the fire diyas need to be balanced, and with a soothing flame.
8) Most important do consider on looking to the backgrounds of these fire work paintings. Houses in paintings with strong fires/fireworks in front may burn out family relationships. another important one- family photos with fire works in front, that is fire sparkling over body, face, members of your family,  strongly avoid display of such photos or paintings.
9) Avoid extremely large paintings , full wall sized, of fireworks or fire cracker bursting. Large paintings have a strong effect on brain and all senses, and though it adds a glamorous appeal to your home decor, and is a great conversation piece, visual impact, the strong energy of fire is always best when in harmony and Balance with the room size. It can create more havoc than benefits.

Happy Birthday Picasso! The Showman, LIVES FOREVER! Celebrated Around the Globe this 25 October 2016 Insights and Quotes, and My Cubism Paintings

October 25 1881 Father of Cubism, Pablo Picasso , Happy Birthday! The Showman, LIVES FOREVER!
Portrait de Picasso, Google Wikipedia
"Picasso showed a passion and a skill for drawing from an early age. According to his mother, his first words were "piz, piz", a shortening of lápiz, the Spanish word for "pencil". From the age of seven, Picasso received formal artistic training from his father in figure drawing and oil painting.Picasso demonstrated extraordinary artistic talent in his early years, painting in a naturalistic manner through his childhood and adolescence. During the first decade of the 20th century, his style changed as he experimented with different theories, techniques, and ideas. His work is often categorized into periods. While the names of many of his later periods are debated, the most commonly accepted periods in his work are the Blue Period (1901–1904), the Rose Period (1904–1906), the African-influenced Period (1907–1909), Analytic Cubism (1909–1912), and Synthetic Cubism (1912–1919), also referred to as the Crystal period.
Exceptionally prolific throughout the course of his long life, Picasso achieved universal renown and immense fortune for his revolutionary artistic accomplishments, and became one of the best-known figures in 20th-century art.Pablo Ruiz y Picasso, also known as Pablo Picasso (/pɪˈkɑːsoʊ, -ˈkæsoʊ/;Spanish: [ˈpaβlo piˈkaso]; 25 October 1881 – 8 April 1973), was a Spanish painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist, stage designer, poet and playwright who spent most of his adult life in France. Regarded as one of the greatest and most influential artists of the 20th century, he is known for co-founding the Cubist movement,
Picasso was exceptionally prolific throughout his long lifetime. The total number of artworks he produced has been estimated at 50,000, comprising 1,885 paintings; 1,228 sculptures; 2,880 ceramics, roughly 12,000 drawings, many thousands of prints, and numerous tapestries and rugs." Wikipedia.

His thoughts...his words ...his quotes are a guiding force to many artists painters around the globe.

"There is no abstract art. You must always start with something. Afterwards you can remove all traces of reality. There is no danger then, anyway, because the idea of the object will have left an indelible mark"Pablo Picasso.

My First cubism painting year 2000, exhibited twice in year 2000 and 2001

The obsession with cubism, still comes up in my art, yet strong influence and hold of healing power in art, symbolism, the power of words continues. The shapes beautifully unfold, each one with a world of symbolism and meanings. Art and shapes have become so synonymous with my thoughts that when ever a subject for a painting is visualized a grid comes up. The grid has come from learning and following Reiki since past sixteen years , The golden grid attracts blessings from the universe and attracts wish fulfillment. as also making art emerged as a serious passion since then, year 2000.I have thousands of small cubism artworks, many of which I have burned, the ritual takes place almost every year by October , November to burn some old paper paintings, damaged, clutter clearing, Feng Shui energy to welcome new ideas and new artworks.. Some are repainted as I wonder why they feel incomplete even after many years, they speak and communicate and repeated obsessive thoughts finally lead me to repaint or retouch the old paintings till finally the canvas rests! For me everyday is eventful, everyday is an exhibition of some new artwork, as I move ahead, enjoying every bit of this spiritual journey of The Red Pilgrim! Making art, sharing art, thinking art, quoting art, enjoying art! Continuously striving to learn new symbols, new hidden meanings, expressions with my precious symbols, how a glint in my eye comes when I am attracted to a new symbol... healing in art! Life is Magical!

God Bless and All the Best from Rizwana!
